Making Sunflowers with Mrs. Fellegy

Over a two-week period, we worked on making sunflowers during art class with Mrs. Fellegy! On the first week, we used oil pastel markers, paper plates, glitter paint and paint brushes to create the inside of the sunflower. We looked at pictures of sunflowers and talked about how sometimes to the middle looks green, sometimes brown, and sometimes more than one color. We drew the seeds of the sunflowers with different colored oil pastels before using the glitter paint to cover the middle. On the second week, we worked on gluing the petals onto the flower and creating the whole flower!

Take a look at our hard work!
