Baby Chick Adventures

Today we adventured upstairs to the middle school science room to see the baby chicks! We looked at the chicks in the incubators as well as talked about all the chicks that have been hatching from the eggs. We also got to see the baby chicks that were already hatched and in the box together! When we came back to our classroom, we took time to talk about what we saw and drew pictures of it!

MS: "Look this one is out of the egg!"

AG: "Wow that is a big egg over there."

LB: "Why are the ones not in the eggs still in there?"

ER:" Those eggs are broken apart."

SZ: "I see the little baby chickens."

LG: "They look so cute!"

YS: "Awe, when do they come out of here?"

BM: "I wonder how many eggs are left to hatch."
